Egypt’s PM And 12 Cabinet Members Resigned Amid Unrests

Egypt’s Prime Minister Hisham Qandil and 12 Egyptian ministers have tendered their resignations from Mohammad Morsi’s cabinet amid unrest.

Arabic service of Russia Today reported Hisham Qandil and his spokesperson resigned Tuesday afternoon.

On Monday another 12 members of the President Morsi’s cabinet handed in their letters of resignation together to Prime Minister Hisham Qandil.

The resignation of the prime minister came during a third day of demonstrations against Morsi, who completed one year in office on Sunday.

While some news sources reported a  resignation of  whole cabinet, the Justice minister of Egypt denied such a report. the cabinet of Morsi including 24 ministers.

Regarding the Egyptian troubles Iran’s View contacted Dr. Reza Sadr-al-Hosseini political analyst and Iranian university professor.

“Tehran has offered its help to Egypt in handling the crisis and restoring peace in the country,” Hosseini said
