{"id":713,"date":"2013-05-22T00:10:13","date_gmt":"2013-05-21T19:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iransview.com\/?p=713"},"modified":"2013-05-22T00:38:16","modified_gmt":"2013-05-21T20:08:16","slug":"disqualified-candidates-cannot-appeal-decision-of-the-guardian-council","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iransview.com\/disqualified-candidates-cannot-appeal-decision-of-the-guardian-council\/713\/","title":{"rendered":"Disqualified Candidates Cannot Appeal Decision Of The Guardian Council"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 14px;\">&#8220;According to the law, disqualified candidates cannot appeal the decision of the Guardian Council,\u201d said Abbas-Ali Kadkhodaei the spokesman of the Council in an interview with Iran\u2019s state TV on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 14px;\">Just a few hours after <a title=\"Breaking: Iran\u2019s Interior Ministry Announced List of Qualified Presidential Candidates\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iransview.com\/breaking-irans-interior-ministry-announced-list-of-qualified-presidential-candidates\/702\/\">list of vetted presidential candidates<\/a> publicly announced, Kadkhodaei appeared in the state TV to explain the decision of the Guardian Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 14px;\">Removal of Iran\u2019s former president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani from the presidential race generated surprise in the reformist front which was hoping to return to the power with supporting Hashemi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times; font-size: 14px;\">\u201cWe considered the age of the candidate.
