In a meeting with representatives from students groups on Sunday, Iran’s leader called on those who claimed vote fraud in 2009 presidential election to apologize to the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n In response to a question asked by one of the student about the aftermath of the 2009 presidential election, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei urged that the main figures behind the election unrest\u00a0 should not be forgotten, emphasizing that although many made mistakes during the\u00a0unrest, the main issue was violation of law and street riots.<\/span><\/p>\n
